How to install

Installation Guide

Prerequisites

  • Administrator permissions in Okta

  • Administrator permissions in Zendesk Support

Installation Steps

  1. Create an Okta API Token

    • Create a service account with admin credentials (recommended)

    • Alternatively, use an existing admin account to create a temporary token

  2. Install the App

    • Click the Free trial button in the Zendesk App Marketplace
    • This will initiate the Okta Admin Pro setup in your Zendesk Support account

  3. Configure Settings

    • Enter your Okta subdomain (e.g., for company.okta.com, enter company)
    • Paste your API token from step 1

    • Configure optional features:
      • Group Management: Enable to manage Okta group memberships

      • App Management: Enable to manage Okta application assignments

  4. Complete Installation

    • Click Install to activate Okta Admin Pro
    • Start managing Okta accounts directly from Zendesk tickets
