Privacy & Data Processing

The Gainsight Zendesk Connector is a configurable integration that enables customers to sync data from their Zendesk account into Gainsight for customer success use cases. The connector may access Zendesk objects such as Brands, Organizations, Tickets, Users, and Agents. The specific objects and fields accessed are fully configurable by the customer. Gainsight does not enforce or control which fields are selected beyond the minimum required identifiers needed to support the integration. Data accessed through this integration is used solely to provide Gainsight’s customer success functionality and is handled in accordance with Gainsight’s security and privacy practices. How to install

Prerequisite

You should already have Gainsight installed and running in an SFDC org before you can use this app in Zendesk. This app also requires an additional license from Gainsight. Please contact your Gainsight sales representative or email sales@gainsight.com.

Getting started

  • Verify you have procured the Gainsight licenses for the intended users of the app.
  • Sign in to your Zendesk and install the new Gainsight app.
  • In Gainsight, go to Administration > Integrations > Customer Support > Zendesk; Turn on the integration.
  • Enter your Zendesk subdomain and follow the steps on screen to enable the connection
  • Enable sync and choose a preferred sync time for the daily sync
