  • Admin access to Zendesk Support (Preferably Owner Account to Authorize).

  • Zendesk Chat & Messaging enabled.

How to install

  1. Navigate to the Zendesk Apps Marketplace and search for OmniSun.
  2. Click on the 'Install' button to add the app to your Zendesk account.
  3. Once installed, locate OmniSun in the menu on the left-hand side of your Zendesk navbar and click to open the app.

  4. To make Zendesk API integration;
  5. Copy the Redirect URL in the Zendesk API tab.
  6. Open the Zendesk Admin Center and go to the OAuth clients tab of the Zendesk API page.

  7. Click 'Add OAuth client'.
  8. Enter a Client name, enter a Unique identifier, paste the copied Redirect URL and click the Save button.
  9. After that, copy and paste the Unique identifier you entered and the generated Secret into the Client Id & Client Secret fields in the OmniSun Zendesk API tab.
  10. Finally click Authorize button and allow requested permissions.

  11. To make Sunco API integration;

  12. Open the Zendesk Admin Center and go to the 'Conversations API' page.

  13. Click 'Create API key'.

  14. Give a name to help identify it and click Next.

  15. Copy and Paste the 'App ID', 'Key ID', 'Secret key' values into the fields of the same name on the OmniSun Sunco API tab.

  16. Click 'Save' button.

  17. If the values you entered are correct, the integration is completed.
