Zendesk SDK (iOS) Conformance Status and Compliance Plan

Description of the Service

The Zendesk SDK (iOS) provides a conversational experience designed to provide customer support features such as messaging to your platforms. Our iOS Zendesk SDK supports a broad range of user needs and can be added to an iOS app to provide end users with a rich, clean messaging experience.

Conformance Status

The portions of our product covered by the European Accessibility Act observe the following standards:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA

  • EN 301 549

Response to Compliance Gaps

While we aim to ensure our products are accessible for all users, we are aware that limitations exist. Our product teams, with the support of Product Accessibility, actively work on improving Accessibility in line with customer requirements and our core values. A key point to highlight is that all customer-reported issues are assigned the highest priority.

As an end user facing product, any bug reported by a customer is immediately escalated and provided the quickest remediation date possible from the product team’s capacity.

Currently, the iOS Zendesk SDK has a fully conformant Accessibility Conformance Report (“ACR”) but we are expecting a new ACR in early July 2025 and will update this document accordingly to address any new compliance gaps by the end of July 2025.

We remain dedicated to transparency and continuous improvement. We welcome feedback from customers and will continue to update our accessibility roadmap in accordance with audit findings and evolving regulations.
