Help Center-aware generationAI Ticket Generator reads your published articles and generates tickets based on real documentation content — so every ticket reflects something a customer could actually ask about.

AI-powered customer personasOn first use, AI Ticket Generator analyzes your Help Center content and automatically infers who your real customers are. It generates a set of customer personas tailored to your product — not generic archetypes. You can edit, add, clone, or regenerate any persona at any time.

Configurable ticket distributionChoose how many tickets to generate and control the exact mix of ticket types: setup issues, billing questions, bug reports, feature requests, and more. Adjust percentages with sliders and see live ticket counts before you generate.

Distribution presetsStart from four built-in presets — Balanced Mix, Support Heavy, Bug Testing, and Training Scenario — or save your own custom distributions and reuse them across sessions.

Section-based scope controlChoose which Help Center sections feed the generation. All sections are selected by default. Narrow the scope to focus on specific areas of your product.

Ticket prefixOptionally add a prefix to every generated ticket subject — such as TEST or SANDBOX — so test tickets are easy to identify and filter at a glance.

Custom tagsAdd your own tags to every generated ticket — such as sprint-42 or routing-test — alongside the system tags. Use them to separate test runs, trigger automations, or build filtered views in Zendesk.

One-click cleanupMark all generated test tickets as solved instantly when your testing is done.

No external backendEverything runs inside Zendesk through the Apps Framework. No data leaves your Zendesk instance except the AI generation request sent to OpenAI.


Requirements

  • An OpenAI API key (available at platform.openai.com)

  • Published Help Center articles in your Zendesk instance

  • Zendesk Suite Growth or above

Como instalar

Setup takes about 2 minutes

Step 1 — Get an OpenAI API keyIf you don't have one, go to platform.openai.com, create an account, and generate an API key. The app uses gpt-4o-mini by default, which is fast and very affordable.

Step 2 — Install the appPaste your OpenAI API key into the settings field during installation. Optionally set a preferred model and default ticket count.

Step 3 — Open the appThe app appears in your Zendesk nav bar. Click the icon to open it.

Step 4 — Let it build your personasThe first time you open the Personas panel (gear icon), the app will read your Help Center and automatically generate a set of customer personas tailored to your product. This takes a few seconds and only happens once.

Step 5 — Generate ticketsSelect your Help Center sections, set your ticket count and distribution, and click Generate Tickets.


Note: You must have published articles in your Help Center before generating tickets. The app cannot generate tickets from an empty Help Center.
