YouTube channel integration for ZendeskYouTube Comments Pro enables Zendesk users to integrate their YouTube channels by pulling video comments and converting them to Zendesk tickets. Agents can also reply to those tickets directly from Zendesk and their replies will show up on YouTube as comment replies.

When installing the application users will be asked to connect with their YouTube channel using their login credentials, after the successful integration the system will start to sync all new comments and import them as new Zendesk tickets that allow agents to reply to them directly through Zendesk.

YouTube Comments Pro App will include the video title and the first few words of the comment in the ticket subject line, to help agents track and group tickets based on their source to better understand the context of the comment.

Multiple ChannelsUsers can also connect several channels to Zendesk by adding several accounts.

How to install

Install the application from the marketplace then follow the following steps:

  1. Add your YouTube channel by going to the Channel apps section under the Apps and Integrations tab and clicking on the Edit button for the Video Comments Application.

  2. Click on the Accounts Tab and Add account Button

  3. Fill in your Name and Email Address and click on the "Sign in with Google" Button

  4. Choose your Google Account that is associated with the YouTube channel you want to connect

  5. If you have multiple YouTube Channels or Brands, you will be asked to choose the Channel or Brand you want to connect with

  6. Allow the application to access your channel by clicking on "Continue"

  7. Your YouTube Channel should be connected now and it should show under the "Accounts" section in the application tab.

  8. Create a new View for YouTube tickets by adding the following condition, Integration Account is Video Comment Integration.
