About Teqtivity
Teqtivity is an IT Asset Management platform that helps organizations maintain accurate, real-time visibility into their devices across the full asset lifecycle. IT teams use Teqtivity to track ownership, manage assignments, and maintain reliable inventory records as environments grow and change.
What the integration does
The Teqtivity Zendesk integration brings asset visibility directly into the Zendesk ticket interface. When a ticket is opened, support agents can immediately view the assets assigned or loaned to the requester.
Agents can perform key asset actions without leaving Zendesk:
View assets assigned or loaned to the ticket requester
Update asset status directly from the ticket
Assign assets using a serial number or asset tag
Open the requester’s full profile in Teqtivity for additional details
This allows IT teams to keep asset records accurate while resolving support requests, without switching between systems.
Data and privacy notice
The integration uses the ticket reporter’s email address to retrieve asset information associated with that user from the Teqtivity platform. Asset data is displayed within the Zendesk ticket to provide context for support agents and enable asset updates from the ticket interface.
The integration accesses Teqtivity through an API token configured during installation. Data retrieved through the integration is not shared with other applications.

Como instalar
Connect Zendesk and Teqtivity in a Few Simple Steps
Follow the steps below to install the Teqtivity integration and start viewing asset information directly inside Zendesk.
STEP 1: Install the Teqtivity Integration in Zendesk
Log in to your Zendesk admin account.
Go to Admin → Apps → Marketplace.
Search for Teqtivity IT Asset Management.
Select the app from the results.
Click Install App.
Once installed, Zendesk will prompt you to configure the integration.
STEP 2: Generate Your Teqtivity API Token
Log in to your Teqtivity account.
Navigate to Toolbox → API Users.
Click Generate New API Token.
Enter a Title and Description for the token (for example: Zendesk Integration).
Copy the generated API Token.
STEP 3: Complete the Zendesk App Configuration
Return to the Zendesk app settings for the Teqtivity integration.
Paste the API Token you generated in Teqtivity.
Click Save to complete the setup.
Once saved, Zendesk will immediately begin connecting with Teqtivity so you can view asset details and related device information directly within your Zendesk workspace.
