Sobre este aplicativo
See the customer's Stripe billing on the ticket, and fix it without leaving Zendesk. When someone writes in about a charge, a renewal or a cancellation, Tillwell shows their Stripe customer next to the ticket: subscriptions, invoices, payments, failed payments, disputes and lifetime value. Agents you allow can refund, cancel or pause a subscription, and email an invoice or receipt, and every action is written to the ticket as an internal note.
Tillwell is built by Great Work LLC. It is not made or endorsed by Zendesk or Stripe. Stripe is a trademark of Stripe, Inc.
The whole billing picture in the sidebar
- Matched automatically by the requester's email addresses (every address on their Zendesk profile), and optionally by a Zendesk user field that holds the Stripe customer id or a Stripe metadata key that holds the Zendesk user id.
- Subscriptions with plan, price, quantity, status and the next renewal, trial end or cancellation date.
- Invoices and payments with status, card, refunded amounts and links to the hosted invoice and receipt.
- Problems first: open disputes with the response deadline, and failed payments from the last 90 days with Stripe's reason.
- Lifetime value, net of refunds, per currency. One click opens the customer in your Stripe Dashboard.
Actions with guard rails
- Refund in full or in part, with a reason. The amount can never exceed what is left on the payment, and disputed payments cannot be refunded.
- Cancel at period end (and undo it), pause payments with an optional resume date, and resume.
- Email an invoice or a receipt from Stripe.
Every action shows a confirmation that says exactly what will happen before anything is sent.
- You decide who may act: admins only by default, or agents, custom roles or groups you list. Each action type can be switched off, and refunds above a limit you set need an admin.
Logged on the ticket, every time
- After Stripe accepts an action, Tillwell adds an internal note to the ticket with the amount, the Stripe ids, the reason, the agent and their note, plus a tag (
tillwell_refund,tillwell_canceland so on) you can use in views and reports. Refunds also carry the ticket number in Stripe's metadata, so your finance team can trace them from Stripe.
Several Stripe accounts
Connect up to three Stripe accounts, for example one per brand or region. Tillwell opens the account mapped to the ticket's brand, and agents can switch.
Get started
Create a restricted key in Stripe, install Tillwell and paste the key into the app settings. Open any ticket from a paying customer and their Stripe billing shows in the sidebar.
Plan (billed monthly by Zendesk)
Standard: $5 per agent per month. Every feature is included. 14-day trial; Zendesk asks for a card at install and billing starts when the trial ends unless you uninstall.
Your data
Your Stripe key is a restricted key you create, stored as a Zendesk secure setting. It never reaches the agent's browser: Zendesk adds it to each request on the way to Stripe, and only for api.stripe.com. The key needs read access for the sidebar and write access only for the actions you turn on (the setup guide lists each permission). Tillwell has no Great Work server, keeps no copy of your Stripe or Zendesk data, has no export, sends nothing to Great Work or anyone else (not even usage statistics), does no background work and uses no AI.

Detalhes do aplicativo
Como instalar
- In Stripe, create a restricted key (Developers > API keys > Create restricted key) named "Tillwell for Zendesk". Give it Read on Customers, Subscriptions, Invoices, Charges, Disputes and Products. For the actions you want, add Write on Refunds (refunds), Subscriptions (cancel, pause, resume), Invoices (email an invoice) and Charges (email a receipt). Leave everything else at None.
Install Tillwell from the Zendesk Marketplace and choose the Standard plan. The 14-day trial starts now; Zendesk asks for a card and starts billing when the trial ends unless you uninstall.
- Paste the restricted key into Stripe restricted key and name the account (for example your company name). Zendesk stores the key as a secure setting; agents never see it.
Optional: add a second or third Stripe account with its own key and name, and list the Zendesk brand ids that should open each account.
- Choose Who may take actions:
admin(the default),agentfor everyone, custom role ids, orgroup:<id>for groups, separated by commas. Switch each action type on or off, and set the Largest refund without an admin (0 means no limit). - Optional matching: the key of a Zendesk user field that holds the Stripe customer id (
cus_...), or a Stripe customer metadata key that holds the Zendesk user id or external id. Open a ticket. Tillwell shows the requester's Stripe customer in the sidebar. Actions write an internal note on the ticket.
Tillwell creates nothing in your Zendesk account at install. It adds internal notes and tillwell_* tags to tickets only when an agent takes an action; they stay if you uninstall. Uninstalling deletes the stored keys; also delete the restricted key in Stripe.
